Ali’s artistic journey began in Anatolia, where his mother, a talented pattern and sewing teacher, first sparked his creative passion. Growing up in a turbulent environment, Ali turned to art as an emotional outlet, a path that deepened his connection to creativity and shaped him into a stronger, more confident individual.
Despite his father’s discouragement—"We can’t be artists"—Ali chose to persevere, using those words as motivation to pursue his dreams. His determination led him to Yeditepe University in Istanbul, where he studied Textile and Fashion Design, laying the foundation for his artistic vision. Driven by curiosity, he also explored Europe’s diverse cultures before moving to New York City, where he studied at Parsons School of Design and Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT).
At Parsons, Ali developed his skills in figure drawing while also studying Management, Leadership, and Entrepreneurship. At FIT, he honed his expertise in sewing and pattern making, allowing him to bring his design ideas to life with precision.
In 2024, Ali faced a new challenge: running the Brooklyn Half Marathon. The experience introduced him to breath work, a practice that enhanced both his physical endurance and his artistic focus, helping him approach creativity with a renewed sense of calm.
Through all his challenges, Ali has become more resilient, confident, and unwavering in his creative journey. His story is a testament to the transformative power of art, resilience, and the strength to pursue one's dreams, no matter the obstacles.
Welcome to Ali’s world, where there are no limitations, and self-expression and personal journeys are always respected and appreciated.
